BTC FOUNDATION FUNDED PROJECT
BTC established a partnership with Moshana Community Development Trust (MCDT) to the value of P 615,000 to construct an Eco Park for conservation and environmental protection of exotic plants. A modest conference facility with amenities is also due to be built in the park. MCDT aims to conserve and protect natural resources of the area against extinction, misuse, and any other damage, and promote the sustainable use of natural resources in the area. The Trust also seeks to establish and encourage tourism and entrepreneurship initiatives for the benefit of the community.
Project implementation, resourcing and engagement of suppliers is centred in the local community to encourage economic inclusion and build social capital within the community.
