Objectives of the Job<\/strong>
\n\u2022 To lead a team and maintaining a reliable and high-performing mobile network as a platform for delivering revenue-generating services to BTC\u2019s Customers.
\n\u2022 Provide effective technical support on business and technology financial activities to engineers, assistant engineers and technicians including NOC, Core and OSS.
\n\u2022 Continually introduce and lead quality improvements within the voice & data operational units, influencing the design, planning and implementation of the BSS\/Core network and tools proposed by other departments.
\n\u2022 Assist with Designing and creating customized statistical and fault reports for different management levels and teams including Optimization, NOC, management and executive personnel.
\n\u2022 To ensure network optimization processes are continuously being updated\/reviewed and align acquired optimization tools to BTC platforms, systems and processes.<\/p>\n

Qualification<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent. Experience
\n\u2022 5 years professional experience in the field of mobile telecommunications network planning and optimisation.
\n\u2022 Experience and knowledge of relevant\/new technologies is an advantage<\/p>\n

Legal Certification\/ Professional Membership<\/strong>
\n\u2022 ERB compliant
\n\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage(IEEE, BIE, etc.).<\/p>\n
