REPORTS TO:<\/strong> General Manager Finance<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 To manage BTC\u2019s asset management capability within the framework of an agreed business strategy and to meet tactical targets for return on investment, profitability and customer satisfaction
\n\u2022 To provide professional corporate asset life cycle management
\n\u2022 To manage corporate Fixed Asset Register and prepare financial reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
\n\u2022 Develop and maintain a BTC Asset Life Cycle Management policy covering asset life and replacements.
\n\u2022 Manage regular reporting in line with International Financial Reporting standards on acquisitions, asset life, depreciation, taxation and disposal.
\n\u2022 Develop a comprehensive BTC asset optimization plan, undertake utilization audits and recommend appropriate levels on investment
\n\u2022 Develop a highly productive, skilled and motivated workforce in the Asset Management Department
\n\u2022 Monitor asset acquisition from project initiation, procurement governance, budget monitoring, project build (work in progress) and commissioning.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
\n\u2022 Masters\u2019 Degree in Business administration will be an added advantage<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Nine (9) years post qualification experience in the asset management or accounting field.
\n\u2022 Three (3) years\u2019 financial management experience in a corporate turnaround environment will be an added advantage<\/p>\n

LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Full Professional Accounting qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA, CA<\/p>\n
