{"id":33474,"date":"2023-09-08T16:57:05","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T14:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=33474"},"modified":"2023-09-23T00:44:34","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T22:44:34","slug":"systems-accountant","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=33474","title":{"rendered":"Systems Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>REPORTS TO:<\/strong> General Manager Finance<\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Analyze current financial systems to determine needs for reconfiguration, re-engineering integration, interfaces to streamline and develop best business practices in the company<br \/>\n\u2022 Review,development, testing and implementation of financial systems<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain databases which are associated with capturing and manipulation of financial Data<br \/>\n\u2022 Analyze product business cases, product catalogue, service provisioning, billing process to ensure that systems process data in line with accounting standards requirements, regulated\/approved tariffs to enable accuracy, and completeness of billing of customers and maintenance of audit trails and documentation<br \/>\n\u2022 Define and design business intelligence tools to draw reports across corporate data warehouses<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertake cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings using systems\/automation\/innovation<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Degree in commerce\/business\/accounting and membership of a relevant professional body. Additional qualifications in financial\/accounting\/business software and tools will be an added advantage<br \/>\nOR<br \/>\n\u2022 Degree in Information Technology\/Information Systems\/Computer science and membership of a relevant professional body.
