REPORTS TO: Head of Network Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Lead the high-quality service of Operations Support Systems (OSS) for all network <\/p>\n
\nnodes management systems connected on the OSS including transport network, Core
\nNetwork for Fixed and Mobile, RAN Nodes, Configuration Management, Performance
\nManagement, Element Management, Fault Management and TN Management
\nsystems on different vendors for all services ensuring high performance on all
\nsystems at all times to meet internal customer satisfaction targets.
\n\u2022 Provide effective technical support on business and technology financial activities to
\nengineers and technicians.
\n\u2022 Continually introduce and lead quality improvements within the OSS, influencing the
\ndesign, planning and implementation of network management tools proposed by
\nother departments.
\n\u2022 Lead and build a pool of skilled engineers on OSS, NOC, BSS\/Core and TN as well as
\nOptimization teams.
\nQUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\nDegree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, IT or equivalent.
\nPost Graduate Qualification in any field, preferably Project Management.
\nEXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\nSix (6) years Telecommunications experience, two years of which should be at Senior Engineer
\nOSS level.
\nPROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\nERB complaint.
\nMembership of a professional association will be an added advantage (IEEE, BIE etc.)<\/p>\n
