REPORTS TO: Access Planning Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Work closely with BTC Client Groups and Users, to examine existing business models <\/p>\n
\ndesign and fixed network (data\/voice) requirements, discuss their findings with the
\nclient, and plan appropriate network optimisation.
\n\u2022 Produce outline plans and costs for both new designs and optimisation of the fixed
\nnetwork (data\/voice), specifying performance standards and capabilities while
\nensuring optimal business value for the technology investment.
\n\u2022 Present designs to the Client and once approved work closely with the Client team to
\nimplement the solution.
\nQUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\nDegree in Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
\nEXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\nFive (5) years experience in telecommunications networks and civil works planning.
\nPROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\nERB Compliant.
\nMembership of a professional association will be an added advantage (BIE, IEEE, etc).<\/p>\n
