REPORTS TO: Head of Financial Reporting Planning and Analysis<\/strong>
\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide professional input into the development of finance policies that enhance shareholder value.
\n\u2022 Manage BTC\u2019s statutory financial accounting and reporting to ensure compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency.
\n\u2022 Lead the statutory financial accounting and reporting team in alignment with corporate goals and performance metrics.
\n\u2022 Ensure timely preparation of statutory financial statements and manage the annual external audit process.
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with all relevant financial standards, conventions, and accounting policies.
\n\u2022 Utilise appropriate metrics to monitor performance and implement corrective action as needed.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Financial Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
\n\u2022 Full professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CA).<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum of 6 years\u2019 professional experience in financial accounting.
\n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years\u2019 managerial experience in financial management within a corporate or turnaround environment.<\/p>\n

LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\n\u2022 BICA compliant.
\n\u2022 CIMA \/ ACCA qualified.
\n\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional association will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
