REPORTS TO: Head of Asset Management<\/strong>
\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Oversee the accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation of BTC\u2019s asset portfolio in accordance with relevant standards.
\n\u2022 Maintain an accurate and updated Fixed Asset Register and ensure asset accounting policies are effectively implemented.
\n\u2022 Coordinate asset verifications, valuations, impairments, and disposals in compliance with audit and governance requirements.
\n\u2022 Ensure proper capitalisation of assets and alignment with project costs, budgets, and financial statements.
\n\u2022 Support strategic decision-making through timely and accurate asset financial data\u00a0and reporting.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
\n\u2022 Full professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA).<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum 6 years\u2019 experience in accounting, with a focus on fixed assets and capital project accounting.
\n\u2022 Experience in asset accounting within telecommunications or large-scale asset-intensive sectors.
\n\u2022 Strong knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting systems.<\/p>\n

LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Professional Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA).
\n\u2022 Membership of a recognised accounting body will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
