REPORTS TO: Company Secretary<\/strong>
\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Ensure BTC\u2019s compliance with the Botswana Data Protection Act and related regulations.
\n\u2022 Serve as the company\u2019s authority on data privacy governance and best practices.
\n\u2022 Oversee and manage the Data Privacy Management System.
\n\u2022 Provide guidance on data subject rights and data breach response processes.
\n\u2022 Build awareness and train employees on data protection requirements.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related field.
\n\u2022 A master\u2019s degree in a related field will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\n\u2022 At least 5 years in data governance, compliance or security management.<\/p>\n

LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Privacy certifications such as CIPM, CIPP or governance\/risk certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGRC.
\n\u2022 Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
