{"id":49616,"date":"2025-11-12T11:07:19","date_gmt":"2025-11-12T09:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=49616"},"modified":"2025-11-12T13:05:58","modified_gmt":"2025-11-12T11:05:58","slug":"data-centre-specialist","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/careers\/data-centre-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Data Centre Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>REPORTS TO: Data Centre &amp; External Services Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Maintain the Data Centre environment to mission-critical standards of performance, uptime and reliability.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deliver cloud infrastructure services that meet the needs of internal and external clients.<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide technical support and proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery.<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct inspections and enforce compliance with Data Centre best practice.<br \/>\n\u2022 Act as lead in incident resolution, taking ownership of troubleshooting and long-term solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or Data Centre operations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, FusionSphere or similar platforms<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 CCNA, ITIL, MCSE, Unix\/Linux<\/p>\n<p>Kindly state the position that you are applying for as the subject.
