REPORTS TO: Head of Risk Management<\/strong>
\nOBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Develop and implement strategies for BTC\u2019s insurance risk management framework.
\n\u2022 Ensure adequate and cost effective insurance cover for all key business assets.
\n\u2022 Maintain and manage an insurance risk register and conduct regular reviews with Heads of Department.
\n\u2022 Oversee procurement, renewal, and evaluation of insurance policies and service providers.
\n\u2022 Investigate insurance claims, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to minimise future risk exposure.
\n\u2022 Monitor and audit compliance with insurance policies and highlight instances of non-compliance.<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATION<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Degree in Insurance Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
\n\u2022 A postgraduate qualification in Enterprise Risk Management or related field will be an added advantage<\/p>\n

EXPERIENCE<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in insurance risk management (for degree holders).
\n\u2022 At least 2 years\u2019 experience in risk management within a competitive telecommunications or similar corporate environment.
\n\u2022 Proven experience in managing insurance portfolios, insurance claims, and engagement with insurers and brokers<\/p>\n
