{"id":49845,"date":"2026-05-21T13:01:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T11:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=49845"},"modified":"2026-05-21T13:01:13","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T11:01:13","slug":"revenue-assurance-analyst-4","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/careers\/revenue-assurance-analyst-4\/","title":{"rendered":"REVENUE ASSURANCE ANALYST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>REPORTS TO: Revenue Assurance Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ROLE PURPOSE<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Revenue Assurance Analyst to support the implementation of BTC\u2019s revenue assurance strategy across all revenue products.<br \/>\nThe role is responsible for identifying and preventing revenue leakages, evaluating controls across revenue assurance activities, and monitoring compliance to ensure revenue realisation for the business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Identify revenue leakage threats through usage reconciliations, subscription reconciliations, product reviews, and system reviews<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in closing revenue leakages by making recommendations, following up with stake holders, and escalating unresolved issues<br \/>\n\u2022 Review product pricing and tariffs, including verification of implemented tariffs and advising on pricing for new products<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform discount and refund audits to ensure compliance and minimise revenue losses<br \/>\n\u2022 Review national and international interconnect invoices, VAS invoices, and internet and leased line supplier invoices<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in reducing the BTC debt book through adherence to credit policy and review of dispute ratios<br \/>\n\u2022 Review KPIs relating to rebates for unmet SLAs\/QoS and ensure adherence to contractual obligations<br \/>\n\u2022 Support periodic review and update of Revenue Assurance policy documents<br \/>\n\u2022 Conduct Revenue Assurance awareness initiatives across BTC<\/p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification<br \/>\n\u2022 Basic data query skills\/training will be an added advantage<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, and\/or Telecommunications.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge of telecommunications systems and revenue assurance processes<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to identify trends and opportunities and execute corrective action plans<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Membership of Global Revenue Assurance Professional Association (GRAPA) will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Professional Enterprise Risk Management Certification will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Membership of a recognised professional association will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to adapt and lead change in dynamic environments<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong><br \/>\nApplicants are requested to clearly state the position applied for in the email subject line.
