{"id":49920,"date":"2026-07-30T16:06:11","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T14:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=49920"},"modified":"2026-08-13T00:59:50","modified_gmt":"2026-08-12T22:59:50","slug":"head-of-risk-management","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/btc.bw\/company\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=49920","title":{"rendered":"HEAD OF RISK MANAGEMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>REPORTS TO: Company Secretary<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide professional Risk Management inputs to the development and maintenance of BTC&#8217;s corporate strategy to support the delivery of shareholder value.<\/li>\n<li>Develop, implement and maintain Enterprise Risk Management, Security, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery policies and frameworks across BTC.<\/li>\n<li>Provide professional Risk Management advice to Management and ensure compliance with Risk Management and Security policies through effective monitoring, reporting, and recommendations for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of enterprise risks to enhance business resilience and support informed decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including National Security Agencies, to ensure compliance with national security requirements and regulatory obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Provide strategic leadership to the Risk Management function by developing a high-performing team and fostering a proactive risk management culture that supports BTC&#8217;s strategic objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent qualification.<\/li>\n<li>A master&#8217;s Degree will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>9 years&#8217; professional experience in Risk Management and Security.<\/li>\n<li>3 years&#8217; managerial experience in Risk Management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LEGAL CERTIFICATION \/ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)<\/li>\n<li>Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management.<\/li>\n<li>Membership of any other recognized professional association will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Kindly state the position that you are applying for as the subject.
