REPORTS TO: Chief Commercial Officer
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
• To develop and execute key Growth Strategies for the Consumer market segment with
clear plans to deliver on the BTC Corporate Strategy for sustainable and profitable
revenues.
• To create and maintain a targeted strategy for the Consumer market segment (Mass,
Residential (retail) and SMME) that will contribute to the delivery of shareholder value
for BTC.
• To position BTC to compete effectively in a highly competitive and mature telco
market for Fixed and Mobile products and services to meet set revenue targets.
• Formulate Strategies to grow the BTC Fixed and Mobile footprint throughout the
country to ensure visibility, availability and reach to all customers.
• To lead a team of Senior Managers in creating and implementing a viable BTC Plan for
Customer Acquisition, Retention and Revenue Growth objectives.
• Effective Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Indirect Channel Management.
QUALIFICATION
Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science or equivalent.
Masters’ Degree will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
Ten years overall relevant professional Experience in the field
Five (5) years of which should be at Senior Management level managing a successful Sales
Division in an emerging market environment.
Must have extensive Experience in generating new leads and growing existing relationships
and end to end responsibility of generating and growing revenue base in the Technology
domain and strong Experience in the selling analytics / professional services to Technology/
Telecom industry.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
