REPORTS TO: Network Management Centre Manager
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
• Guide Operational strategies and support 24/7 Network Performance Monitoring
• Supervise Surveillance Assistant Engineers during their routine surveillance duties.
• Supervise end to end Fault Handling procedure as per Alarm Policy and customer
Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor that the network runs effectively and efficiently to deliver high network
availability.
QUALIFICATION
Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years’ experience in network performance monitoring area.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION/MEMBERSHIP
CCNP or equivalent.
Membership to a professional body is an added advantage, e.g.BIE, IEEE, etc.
ERB certified.
