REPORTS TO: Head of Sales
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
• Drive revenue, profitability, and retention across a portfolio of strategic accounts through the sale of integrated telecommunications and digital solutions.
• Serve as the primary commercial interface between BTC and allocated customers, championing client needs, strengthening relationships, and expanding BTC’s share of wallet.
• Achieve revenue and margin targets through proactive pipeline management, consultative selling, and execution of robust account plans.
• Build and maintain strong executive relationships, identify growth opportunities, and lead negotiations to close new business, cross-sell, and up-sell services.
• Coordinate service delivery and resolve escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions aligned to customer requirements and market needs.
• Monitor market and competitor trends to inform sales strategy and ensure compliance with BTC policies, contracts, and governance standards.
QUALIFICATION
• Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems, ICT, or a related field.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in account management or enterprise sales within a high-performing commercial environment.
• Proven track record in managing strategic accounts and achieving revenue targets.
• Experience in fixed-mobile convergence and selling integrated communications or ICT solutions.
• Exposure to Government and large enterprise customers will be an added advantage
LEGAL CERTIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
• Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) or equivalent professional certification.
• Membership of a recognised professional sales or marketing association will be an added advantage.
