Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTC) invites applications from suitably
qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Regional Head of Sales. This is a
strategic leadership role responsible for driving regional sales performance, strengthening
route-to-market execution, and delivering superior customer experience across all channels.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Regional Head of Sales will provide strategic leadership and management of direct and
indirect sales operations within the assigned region. The role is accountable for maximising
revenue, market share, and customer experience across BTC shops, dealer networks, and field
sales teams, while building a high-performing regional sales ecosystem aligned to BTC’s
growth strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and execute regional sales strategy aligned to national targets.
• Drive revenue, market share, and channel performance (shops, dealers, POS, field).
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage regional sales teams.
• Optimise dealer/partner relationships and route-to-market execution.
• Ensure superior customer experience and campaign execution.
• Monitor performance using data insights and manage budgets, compliance, and crossfunctional
alignment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master’s degree will be an added advantage
• Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in sales/commercial roles, including at least 5 years in a
leadership capacity
• Proven experience in regional sales leadership, dealer/channel management, and route-tomarket
execution
• Experience in telecommunications, FMCG, or retail distribution environments
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to drive performance through data
• Experience with CRM systems and digital sales channels will be advantageous

LEGAL CERTIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
• Certified Inside Sales Professional (CISP) or equivalent professional certification.
• Membership of a recognised professional sales or marketing association will be an added advantage.
