REPORTS TO: Physical Security Manager
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB

• To maintain physical security in all BTC premises.
• To ensure functionality of security solutions such as access control, surveillance and alarms for all BTC assets.
• To provide continual supervision to contracted security service providers.
• To conduct risk assessments at all BTC facilities and infrastructure.
• To participate in the request for information by National Law Enforcement Agencies and provide expert witness relating to security operations.
• Conducts regular risk assessment at all BTC facilities and sites countrywide ensuring that the security risk register is always up to date

QUALIFICATION
• Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice Studies or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience

LEGAL CERTIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
• Physical Protection Professional (PSP) or any equivalent.
• Technical Security certifications on alarm monitoring, access control, CCTV and ‘incident detection,
mitigation and response’ systems would be an added advantage.
• Membership of a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
