Reporting directly to the Managing Director, an executive position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) provides overall leadership to the Commercial teams in pursuance of strategies for revenue growth and superior customer experience standards. The position is responsible for directing and driving performance within the dynamic Enterprise Sales, Consumer Sales, Marketing and Service Quality functions within BTC.
The position requires a commercially astute individual who would be able to balance market insights, global trends in the delivery of innovative and cutting – edge technology solutions to the market. The position also provides oversight of the development and implementation of best practice models of customer service for the company in its entirety thus improving operational efficiencies, execution and contributing towards the transformation of BTC. Knowledge, dynamism and a proven track record of strong leadership and management is vital for success in this position.
You will have a strong commercial background coupled with excellent business acumen supported with at least a marketing, business administration, communications or engineering degree or equivalent with at least 12 years’ relevant experience, three (3) of which should be at an executive level in a successful telecommunications company operating in a fixed, mobile or fixed – mobile convergence environment. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of telecommunications business models and experience in driving transformation and change in a technology driven organization.
