REPORTS TO: Senior Engineer PS Core
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB
– To influence design and plan for new implementations and integrations on the MPBN and Packet Core originating from other departments
– To develop, document and adopt risk management framework and policies within the operating network MPBN and Packet Core.
– To design and document all major network changes including integrations, upgrades, downgrades, patches, optimisations and installations affecting the operating network on MPBN and Packet Core.
– To design, plan and document security implementations and integrations on the MBPN and Packet Core
– To implement network audit recommendations from external parties.
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent
• Specialist training in Telecommunications
EXPERIENCE
• Five (5) years of experience in Packet Switched networks and MPBN
LEGAL CERTIFICATION / PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
• ERB Registration
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
