Sipho Ntebang
Sipho Ntebang is an accomplished commercial and telecommunications executive with over 20 years of experience spanning multiple economic sectors, including FMCG, manufacturing, transport and logistics, customer-focused service industries, telecommunications, and digital infrastructure. He is widely recognised for leading sales transformation, driving revenue growth, optimising distribution networks, and delivering high-performance commercial outcomes. He holds a BSc (Honours) in Economics alongside various professional certifications from accredited institutions.
In his current role as Chief Consumer Sales Officer at Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC), Sipho leads the consumer sales strategy across mobile, broadband, and fixed services. His mandate includes accelerating revenue growth, enhancing customer value, and strengthening all distribution channels—ranging from direct sales to indirect channels such as dealers, retailers, banks, and digital platforms. His focus is on delivering improved sales performance and service excellence across all consumer market segments.
Sipho’s leadership is defined by strategic foresight, operational discipline, and a people-centred approach to team development. He is results-driven, execution-focused, and ensures that consumer strategies are aligned with BTC’s broader commercial growth objectives and digital transformation agenda.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Sipho is a committed community leader, pastor, and licensed marriage counsellor. He is passionate about youth empowerment, entrepreneurship mentorship, rural SME development, and strengthening family values through faith-based leadership.
