Data Processing And Responsibility
- BTC acts solely as a data processor and not as a data controller. As such, BTC does not have the authority to amend or alter any information submitted by Brokers or the CSDB.
- The responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and processing of shareholder data remains with the CSDB and the respective Brokers.
Central Securities Depositary Botswana
- Maintain the official BTC shareholder register
- Act as a transfer secretary and administer AGM
- Assist in query resolution and produce reports of trading history
Botswana Stock Exchange
- Provides the trading platform where BTC shares are bought and sold
- Monitors BTC’s compliance with listing requirements and disclosure obligations

Dividends Declaration
Dividends are paid twice a year subject to BTC board approval:

Payment is calculated as:
