REPORTS TO: General Manager – Consumer Sales
OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB

– Develop and implement the MFS strategy aligned with BTC’s digital vision and market trends.
– Drive customer acquisition, usage, and retention through innovative MFS products and services.
– Lead cross-functional teams in launching and scaling digital wallets, mobile banking, payments, and related Fintech solutions.
– Identify and execute partnerships with banks, Fintechs, merchants, and regulators to expand the MFS ecosystem.
– Ensure full regulatory compliance with financial, risk, and data protection standards.
– Monitor performance metrics, develop pricing strategies, and lead revenue growth initiatives.

QUALIFICATION
– Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, Finance, or related field.
– A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

Professional certifications in any of the following are highly desirable:
– Certified FinTech Professional (CFtP)
– Digital Financial Services (DFS) Certification
– ACIB or equivalent professional banking certification
– Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
– Project Management (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2)

EXPERIENCE
– In-depth knowledge of mobile money ecosystems, financial regulations, and digital payment platforms.
– Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
– Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and partnership-building skills.
– Experience with product innovation, customer experience management, and agile methodologies.
– Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.

KEY COMPETENCIES
– Minimum of 9 years’ experience in marketing, financial services, or telecommunications.
– At least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role within mobile money, payments, or digital banking services, managing business products, especially in emerging markets.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP
– Membership of a professional association will be an added advantage
