Wholesale Site Rentals

These can be described as the use of BTC infrastructure (tower and/ or site) by another entity (PTO/ VANs/ Broadcasters) to mount its own antennae; and, as an option, house their equipment (e.g., batteries, generators etc.) on the BTC site.

BENEFITS OF SITE RENTAL/ TOWER SPACE TO CUSTOMERS     

• Wider network coverage: to even remote areas for the customer using BTC telecommunications infrastructure which is sparingly spread all over the country to mount their antennae
• Security: the customers equipment will be secure as all BTC sites are security manned
• Cost effective: for the customer as they will be using already mounted BTC telecommunications infrastructure

SITE RENTAL/ TOWER SPACE COVERAGE  

The BTC Sites/Tower Spaces are available country wide where BTC is having telecommunication network coverage. The attached list outlines the various footprints where the service is available.

GENERAL COLLOCATION OF SITE RENTAL/ TOWER SPACE TERMS:

• Allocation of space is on a first come first serve.
• Customer to provide own shelter and power
• All costs (unless indicated otherwise) are exclusive of Botswana Value Added Tax (VAT) which the customer shall be liable for.
• The provisioning of the service will be subject to the signing of an agreement.
• 5 years and 10 years options available
• Any agreement entered into will be governed and interpreted in accordance with Botswana laws.
• Pricing is subject to change and subject to BTC’s annual tariff adjustments.
• Customer has 30 days to accept the allocated space in writing failing which the offer will be automatically withdrawn.
