Terms & Conditions

• This Promotion runs from 5th November 2021 to 6th March 2022 in all Cell City and BTC retail stores.
• This Competition is open to all participants who purchase selected Hisense mobile device from any Cell City or BTC store in Botswana.
• Clients who purchase a specific range of Hisense mobile device from any Cell City or BTC retail store will be eligible to enter the promotion. On conclusion of the sale, the client will be assisted to complete an entry form. The completed entry form along with the Invoice will be placed into an entry box within the store.
• The client should retain a copy of the invoice as well as the entry form as proof of entry should they be drawn as one of the three finalists.
• One entry per Hisense mobile device purchased is permitted. Customers are entitled to purchase multiple Hisense mobile phones. Each phone qualifies for one entry to this competition.
• The main prize on offer is a VW T-Roc R, second and third price Hisense 88 inch laser TV.
• The promoters reserve the right to terminate, temporarily suspend or amend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control or technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity. Any changes as indicated above will also be communicated to the Gambling Authority. Should this occur participants will be notified via various print and digital media.
• A manual draw will take place at the Cell City Head Office, time and date to be confirmed. Three finalists will be chosen through a random selection process by appointed audit firm. Should we draw an entrant, and that person is not reachable via telephone we will implement a process to exhaust all options to get hold of the person within the day of the draw. Should we not be able to reach them we will then draw another entrant.
• If any of the selected entries are drawn from a BTC shop, the IMEI number of the mobile phone on the entry form will first be validated to ensure that it was in fact supplied by Cell City. (In the instance where the entry drawn proves to be that of a device not supplied from Cell City, this entry will be dis qualified, and another entry will be drawn in its place.
•  Incomplete entry forms will be disqualified from the competition immediately. The onus is on the competition entrant to ensure that all relevant sections of the entry form are completed correctly.
• Three finalists will be notified by Cell City via a telephone call. They will be invited to the handover ceremony, time and date to be confirmed.
• At the prize handover ceremony, the finalists will be asked to authenticate their details. They will need to present copy of the invoice for the Hisense mobile device they purchased from the store as well as the copy of the competition entry form. They will also need to provide their Omang or Passport.
• At the handover ceremony the finalists will each select a sealed envelope from a container. They will then be requested to open the sealed envelopes which will reveal the specific prize they will win.
• The finalists, by entering this promotion will cede the rights for their names, images and person to be used for all forms of communication and advertising related to this promotion. The winners will not receive any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity. All materials, including publicity materials, photos etc., will be the sole property of the promoters.
• Once the winner accepts ownership of the vehicle at the prize giving ceremony, all responsibility for the vehicle passes to the new owner inclusive of Insurance and Maintenance. Cell City and BTC do not accept any liability whatsoever for the vehicle after the transfer takes place. Any maintenance or repair issues should be addressed with any VW dealership in Botswana. The vehicle given as the prize is given as a brand-new vehicle with whatever warranty may or may not be associated with a vehicle of this nature from VW.
• The winner’s names will be announced on the Cell City and BTC Facebook page, its website as well as various other media within Botswana. Cell City and BTC will have the sole discretion as to which media is used to announce the winner.
• Once the winners accept the prizes, arrangements will be made to transfer the vehicle to their name. Consolation prizes will be made available for collection from the Cell City warehouse in Gaborone.

Cell City and BTC do then not bare any further responsibility or liability whatsoever to any of the winners and the respective prizes.

• Cell City, BTC and their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, or their trading partners will not be held liable for any loss, damage or costs suffered by an entrant of this prize draw, even if caused by negligence. This clause means that competition entrants accept any risks associated with entering this competition and will not be able to bring a claim against the listed parties for any loss, damages, expense, or any other reason.
• By entering this competition and supplying information via the entry form, all participants accept and agree to abide by the competition rules and associated Terms and Conditions.
• Cell City and BTC employees, their respective advertising, media and PR agencies, or their trading partners and all their immediate families are excluded from entering this competition.
• Purchases of Hisense phones via the Cell City or BTC website are not eligible for entry to this competition.
• No under 18’s are permitted to participate.

• The competition will run from the 05th November – 31st January 2022.
• To enter the competition prepaid customers must purchase airtime from P50 and above cumulatively to automatically be entered into the draw. Airtime purchases are valid for all channels (SMEGA, vouchers, virtual, Bank Top up and E-recharge). Winners under this category stand a chance to win either cash, 4Mbps Prepaid fast connect or A Food voucher worth P1,500.
• To enter the competition Customers must purchase either 4Mbps or 10Mbps to automatically stand a chance to win a Samsung device + airtime.
• Entries to the draw shall only be allowed for BTC Mobile Prepaid customers only
• Prizes will be awarded to the cell number that recharged and to the individual who has registered their details to that cell number.
• Customers may recharge as many times as they see fit or possible.
• A customer may win more than once in the competition.
• Multiple recharges added together will be treated as one entry (i.e., P10, P20 and P20 will be treated as P50)
• Winners of the draw will be selected via an audited random draw done by external auditors.
• By participating in this promotion, all customers agree to be bound by these rules and any specific rules that may apply.
• BTCL may refuse a prize or disqualify any entrant at its own discretion, should the entrant not comply with these terms and conditions.

• Any recharges or Prepaid fast connect done after this date and time will not be entered into this competition.
• BTCL reserves the rights to request winners to provide a valid proof of identity and valid proof of residency. Identification deemed suitable is Omang or Passport.
• If the prize winner is less than 18 years, the winner will forfeit the prize.
• Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
• The winners during the competition agree that BTCL can use their names for further promotional and marketing purposes. BTCL will not be held liable for any incorrect or inaccurate information published in any form of media.
• BTCL assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission communications line failure.
• Employees of BTCL and their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this competition
